Consent. It's crucial.

End of September marks students from all over the world moving to Cardiff and into Cardiff University halls. This year, if you have moved into halls, you might have noticed some new posters we have put up around your kitchens and communal areas on the topic of sexual consent.

 

‘Consent. It’s crucial.’ is a campaign run by your VP Welfare, Charlotte Towlson. She started it because of the belief that there is a continuous need to actively educate ourselves and others about consent to provide a safe environment and community at Cardiff Univeristy.

 

The campaign includes the posters you may have seen around, as well as social media materials (you can find them in our Instagram Highlights @CardiffStudents.) Charlotte is also participating in an event hosted by the University’s Disclosure Response Team as well as holding her own drop-in sessions on the 7th of September! Find out more details below.

'Cydsyniad. Mae'n hollbwysig.' Dyma ymgyrch sy'n cael ei rhedeg gan eich IL Lles, Charlotte Towlson. Fe’i cychwynnodd oherwydd y gred bod angen parhaus i ddysgu am gydsyniad er mwyn darparu amgylchedd a chymuned ddiogel ym Mhrifysgol Caerdydd.

 

Mae'r ymgyrch yn cynnwys y posteri rydych chi efallai wedi'u gweld, yn ogystal â deunyddiau cyfryngau cymdeithasol (gallwch ddod o hyd iddyn nhw yn ein Instagram Highlights @CardiffStudents.) Mae Charlotte hefyd yn cymryd rhan mewn digwyddiad a gynhelir gan Dîm Ymateb i Ddatgeliadau y Brifysgol yn ogystal â chynnal ei sesiynau galw heibio ei hun ar y 7fed o Fedi!
