Postgraduate Research Representative Forum (PGRR)

The Forum

As a Student Academic Rep you are expected to attend a number of meetings throughout the year. One of the most significant meetings is the Postgraduate Research Representative (PGRR) Forum which takes place at least once a semester. These meetings are your key opportunity to be consulted on changes to the Postgraduate Research experience and where you can raise your ideas and concerns. You will meet to discuss issues affecting the postgraduate research community at Cardiff. The forum has been run for many years and is now chaired by the Vice President Postgraduate Nick Fox with admin support from the Student Voice team. Each school is expected to send at least one PGR Representative to this meeting, but all PGR reps are welcome to attend.

Postgrad Exec Senior PGR College Reps:

The Postgraduate Executive is made up of student reps who will help advise and serve as a sounding board for the Vice President Postgraduate. Amongst the executive are the three Senior PGR College Reps. The Senior College Reps will attend the PGRR meetings and will help with assembling agendas as well as attending key meetings with the University Graduate College.
