From your first day, we’re here to help you feel at home;
from finding lifelong friends, to trying a
brand new activity
or hitting the dance floor
to throw some shapes, you’ll find lots to keep you busy.
During Welcome Week, we host a range of Freshers’ Fairs to help you get
involved in Societies with our Societies fair, our
Sports Clubs fair, the
Volunteering fair for volunteering opportunities,
and our jobs and skills fair for training courses.

The Students’ Union at Park Place is located directly opposite Main Building,
but you might find us a little bit hard to find when you arrive as there’s an exciting new
building development happening on our doorstep. Don’t worry though, behind the cranes and
the colourful boards, we’re still open as usual.
