Freshers' Fairs 2024

We host a range of fairs during Freshers' Week, giving you the opportunity to meet the students who run our clubs, societies and volunteering projects. You can also find out what services are available to Cardiff University students and pick up some awesome freebies!
There will be different companies every day and the student stalls change across the two-day Societies and Volunteering Fairs so we recommend coming to all the fairs. To find out who’s attending and plan your time, click on the link below.
This year, we’re expanding the fairs across the building to bring you extra stalls, extra freebies and extra chances to have fun!
Please book a free entry ticket at the time you would like to arrive at the fair. There are lots of slots to choose from throughout the day.
On arrival:
  • You will need to show your student ID and ticket on the door.
  • Please don’t arrive more than 10 minutes before your allotted time.
  • Follow the directional signs to the queue and have your ID and ticket ready.

Sports & Freebies Fair Day 1

Come along to the Sports & Freebies Fair to talk to the students who run our sports clubs.

Whether you’re continuing with a sport you love or excited to try something new, joining a sports club is a great way to meet new students when you arrive in Cardiff.

There will also be the opportunity to find out what services are available to Cardiff University students, speak to local and national companies, and also pick up some awesome freebies!

There will be different societies attending on Wednesday and Thursday so make sure you come along to both Fairs.

You will have the chance to meet the students who run our societies and find out about the great volunteering projects you can get involved in. There will also be the opportunity to find out what services are available to Cardiff University students, speak to local and national companies, and pick up some awesome freebies!
