Celebrating a landmark Spring Elections

Congratulations to everyone who ran in the 2025 Spring Elections, and a massive thank you to everyone who voted! With over 25% of students casting their vote, this year marks the second highest turnout in our history, a powerful show of student voices shaping the future of their Union.

A huge thank you to our 57 incredible candidates and to their dedicated campaign teams; for putting themselves forward and working tirelessly to engage students with their ideas and vision.

Student leaders play a vital role in shaping campus life. From representing your views to University decision-makers, to leading campaigns, improving services, and standing up for what matters to you, they are the student voice in action. By voting, you’ve helped choose who will lead that work over the next year.

Your newly Elected Officer team will take up their roles in July. Until then, your current Officer team is still here, so make the most of the chance to speak with them about their plans before they wrap up their time in office.

Llongyfarchiadau i bawb a ymgeisiodd yn Etholiadau’r Gwanwyn 2025, a diolch enfawr i bawb a bleidleisiodd! Gyda dros 25% o fyfyrwyr yn pleidleisio, dyma’r nifer ail uchaf erioed yn ein hanes, ac mae’n arddangosiad pwerus o leisiau myfyrwyr yn llunio dyfodol eu Hundeb.

Diolch enfawr i’n 57 ymgeisydd anhygoel a’u timau ymgyrchu ymroddedig; am sefyll, gweithio’n ddiflino i ymgysylltu gyda myfyrwyr, a rhannu eu syniadau a gweledigaeth. Mae arweinwyr myfyrwyr yn chwarae rôl allweddol wrth lunio bywyd ar y campws. O gynrychioli eich safbwyntiau i dîm rheoli’r Brifysgol ac arwain ymgyrchoedd, i wella gwasanaethau a sefyll dros yr hyn sy’n bwysig i chi, nhw yw llais ein myfyrwyr. Trwy bleidleisio, rydych wedi helpu dewis pwy fydd yn arwain y gwaith hwn dros y flwyddyn nesaf.

Bydd eich Swyddogion newydd yn dechrau yn eu rolau ym mis Gorffennaf. Tan hynny bydd eich Swyddogion presennol yma, felly gwnewch y mwyaf o’r cyfle i siarad gyda nhw ynghylch eu cynlluniau wrth iddyn nhw ddod i ddiwedd eu hamser yma.
