Join us for a speakers event with former cabinet minister Chris Heaton-Harris who spent over 20 years serving in British Politics. Originally an MEP, he would be elected to parliament as the MP for Daventry. Following years in the backbaenches he would serve as a minister across various government departments before being made Chief Whip under the Johnson government. Upon the election of Lizz Truss, he would become one of the cabinet ministers for the UK as Secretary of State for Northern Ireland where he would spend two years ,serving under Truss and Sunak, having to deal with the turbulant political situations within Ireland.

This event will offer and opporunity to hear from Chris on his long and illustrious career, the talk will also offer a Q&A where memebers will be able to ask Chris questions pertaining to his time as an MEP, MP, Minister or a member of the cabinet.
