An amazing day out with the Students' Union, let us take you to one of the best country houses South Wales has to offer - Margam Castle! Situated in Port Talbot, the castle is only a short drive down the road from Cardiff, perfect for a day exploring the best of Welsh culture!

10am departure on Saturday 10th October from the front of the Students' Union.

With beautiful gardens, an abbey and a haunted house hugely popular for paranormal investigation, this visit is sure to be a fun day out during the hectic schedules you may have at the start of term. Bring your friends, pack a picnic and spend the day indulging in everything Margam Castle has to offer.

What do I need to bring?

• Weather appropriate clothing (bringing a waterproof coat in Wales is always a safe bet!)
• Sturdy shoes or trainers
• Back pack
• A camera to snap some selfies
• At least two bottles of water
• Some money for souvenirs and snacks 

We would also advise you to bring a small packed lunch, even if you plan on buying food in one of the cafes. 

1. All tickets are strictly non-refundable and non-transferable. Please be sure that you are available to go on this trip before you buy the ticket.
2. The bus leaves strictly at the time advertised. If you are late for ths bus you will be left behind and will have to make your own way back to Cardiff.
3. We will endeavour to get you back to Cardiff at the time specified above, but we cannot guarantee there won't be traffic or delays.
4. For your safety ou are required to follow the instruction of the CUSU staff and team leaders at all times when on this trip.
5. In the event of rain or adverse weather conditions this trip will still go ahead.
