Self-Care Tips
We have put together a range of Self-Care tips ovr the Christmas period. It is really important to take time for yourself, look after your mind and most importantly be kind to yourself.
Make time for friends and family digitally or by following Government Guidance for your area.
Ask someone to keep an eye out for you and to check in on how you’re doing.
Read books to help decrease screen time.
Create your own experiences and happiness. Be indulgent. Pamper yourself.
Host/ organize quizzes or games amongst friends or fam to keep the brain ticking over
Take a warm shower/bath.
Reflect on your day. You could keep a journal nor just make a mental note.
Buy a nice shower gel/hair mask/candle. You could even buy some made in Wales produce from Cole and Co, which is based on Whitchurch Road Heath.
Write a manageable to-do list AFTER you’ve done things so you can tick them off .
Go walking or hiking somewhere you haven't explored before.
Take time away from your phone and social media.
Get enough sleep!
