At the CUMC we are luck to have access to a range of benefits from several generous places. Macron is the official provider of CUMC merchandise, and you can check out their website here, you can find the range of options by searching Cardiff University Mountaineering. You may also choose to visit their store on the ground floor of the Students Union building.
For your more climbing specific needs, we get a flat 10% of any gear or clothing bought from V12 Outdoor and Up and Under, subject to exceptions. You can visit V12 Outdoor at https://v12outdoor.com/, or pay them a visit with the club on one of our regular trips to North Wales. Up and Under is a Cardiff local store and can be visited in person or by the website here. A local visit during our annual 'Lock In' could mean saving 20% on certain items. In collaboration with Rab Equipment and Up & Under, the CUMC also arranges a bulk order of outdoor clothing for all your climbing needs. Discounts have been as much as 40% in the past, but this may change year by year.
