Social Sciences Society

Welcome to the Cardiff University Social Science Society's webpage. SocSi society for short!

This society covers every student who studies a social science degree including Criminology, Education, Social Policy, Sociology, Social Science, Human and Social Sciences and Social Analytics. Whether you are part of our SocSi degrees or interested in our society, you are welcome to join us!!

We will be organising both drinking socials, sober socials and of course our iconic Christmas and Summer balls!!! Our main value as a committee is to create a community of like minded individuals, allow spaces to make friends at our events and support you through your experience at university.

Membership

In order to process and activate your membership, your name and email will need to be made available to the Students' Union and committee members of the groups you wish to join. Your details will be used to effectively manage your membership and communicate with you regarding events, activities and relevant information. A record of your membership will be retained after your membership has lapsed for the purposes of alumni management. Should you wish to have your details removed, please contact the Students' Union at  StudentsUnion@cardiff.ac.uk
