AMS is Cardiff Uni’s Alternative Music Society! From Goth to Grunge, New Wave to Nu Metal, Punk, Post-Punk, Alt Rock, Classic Rock, Psychedelic, Shoegaze and more, we aim to showcase the best alternative music Cardiff has to offer.
We host a variety of regular socials including Clwb nights, gigs, music workshops, group trips, DIY socials, pub crawls, listening parties and the legendary house parties.
We aim to create a safe and inclusive environment for people who are passionate about alternative music. Whether you’re looking for people to enjoy gigs with, experiencing the best of the capital’s nightlife or simply to make like-minded friends in Cardiff, join AMS!
