Hello everyone, I'm Daisy, and I'm thrilled to introduce myself as a second-year History and Politics student, as well as the President of the Real Ale Society and your Women's Officer for the upcoming year, 2023/2024.
In my various roles, I've had the opportunity to delve into practical and realistic ways of enhancing the lives of women. It's precisely this experience that I aim to bring to my position as your Women's Officer. My approach is simple: I want to foster open dialogue and understanding by hosting regular round table discussions with societies and students. This way, I can truly grasp the needs and desires of everyone, and together, we can collaboratively find the best solutions and put them into action.
By working hand in hand, we can strive for an intersectional approach that empowers all women at Cardiff University. It's about ensuring that every voice is heard and every woman is supported. Together, let's create an inclusive and empowering environment for all.

Yn fy ngwahanol rolau, rydw i wedi cael cyfle i edrych ar ffyrdd ymarferol a realistig o wella bywyd menywod. Gobeithiaf ddod â’r profiad yma i fy rôl fel Swyddog Menywod. Mae fy null yn syml: Hoffwn hybu trafodaeth agored a dealltwriaeth drwy gynnal cyfarfodydd cyson gyda chymdeithasau a myfyrwyr. Trwy wneud hyn gallaf ddeall anghenion a dyheadau pobl a, gyda’n gilydd, gallwn ddod i hyd i’r datrysiadau gorau a’u gweithredu.
Trwy weithio law yn llaw gallwn anelu am ddull rhyngblethol sy’n grymuso’r holl fenywod ym Mhrifysgol Caerdydd. Mae’n bwysig sicrhau bod pob llais yn cael eu clywed a bod pob menyw wedi’u cefnogi. Gyda’n gilydd gallwn greu amgylchedd cynhwysol i bawb.
