The Pakistani Society here at Cardiff University is our home away from home! We hold different events, cultural celebrations and gatherings so that students can enjoy our rich Pakistani culture, feel less homesick, make new friends, network and have a safe place where they can enjoy and feel valued.. We also provide help and advice to members on different issues that they might have problems on.
The major event for any ethnic society is held during Go-Global; the whole community will be involved and performances are encouraged. The society tries to involve other societies in some events to provide a means of interacting with other international communities.
It is important to meet people from the same region as it creates a support system. Furthermore, we wish to portray a positive image of Pakistanis in the international community.
The committee remains approachable for any issues and advice as the opinions of the members are highly significant and always taken into account.
